Excerpt from Kalemaat Nooraniyah,

"Al Ashara Al mubaraka ni mawaa'iz ane majaalis waaste ehtemaam laazim chhe,

je na sabab mumineen ne barakaat ane sa'aadaat naseeb thati rahe chhe.

Mumineen mashahid ma awe chhe, wa'azo ma awe chhe,  shuru si awe chhe,

beesri taarikh si awe chhe, potani dukaan band raakhe chhe. Mumineen jaane chhe ke

aa barakaat Imam Hussain A.S ni chhe. Ehna par ek aansu nikaalse, ye moula ni shafaa'at

si apno beropaar thai jaase. To ye zikr sunwa waaste, Aale Mohammed S.A ni zikr sunwa waaste,

Duaat ni zikr sunwa waaste, nasihato sunwa waaste shuru si haazir thai ne barakaat le."

"Mumineen je sagla ne imkaan hoi, Da'I na yahaa awi ne sune, azaa' ni majaalis ma barakaat le.

Ane je sagla potana bilaad ma wahaa ashara suntan hoi, ye sagla majaalis ma baraabar haazir thaai.

Wepaar ma barakat to Hussain A.S no maatam chhe. Hussain A.S ne yaad karso, Khuda tamari rozi na darwaaza kholi aapse."

Taking Barakat from these Kalemaat Nooraniyah of Aqa Moula T.U.S, mumineen are advised as follows:-

1.       Wa'az timings will be from 10:30 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by Zohr & Asar Namaz. After which, Mumineen are invited for Niyaaz jaman.

2.       Maatam Majlis during Ashara Mubaraka will be held at both Saifee Masjid (Town) and Burhani Masjid (Saifee Park) immediately  after Maghrib & Isha Namaz. Maatam majlis will last for 40 minutes. Mumineen are invited for Niyaaz jaman after majlis.

3.       Mumineen  businessmen are requested to keep their busineses closed during Wa'az. Also, those employing Munineen are requested to give their Mumin staff leave during wa'az.

4.       Mumineen in service and professionals are requested to take leave during Ashara Mubaraka Wa'az.

5.       During the duration of Ashara Mubaraka, E-jamaat cards will be scanned, therefore, Mumineen OVER MISAAQ  are requested to attend Wa'az Mubarak with their E-jamaat cards.

Security Alert 04 December, 2009 Dear Friends A Langata resident just reported an attempted carjacking that took place on 3rd December at 11pm on the Langata South Road. As the resident was turning from Langata South road onto Kipevu Road at the Mat Bronze junction, a car which he thought was a mercedes benz, came up behind him very quickly with full beam headlights. The resident first thought that it was a government dignitary demanding right of way. However, the assailants soon starting bumping his Nissan Patrol from the back and tried to overtake him. Realizing that they were "would be carjackers," he sped up and managed to out-drive the assailants. Since the resident was in a 4WD vehicle with high clearance and the assailants were in a 2WD vehicle, he gained the advantage going over the multiple speed bumps on Kipevu Road at speed and managed to get to the security barrier before they caught up with him. The Diplomatic Police Unit (DPU) remind us that historically, the Holiday Season brings with it an increase in property theft, burglary and opportunistic crime such as muggings, car-jacking and extortion scams. The following are a few points of recommended behavior drawn from real car-jacking incidents from the DPU: 1.    Avoid use of the same route on daily basis to work / home/ school / college etc. 2.    Change cars if possible from time to time. 3.    Avoid unnecessary travel during the late hours. When it is absolutely necessary travel with someone, DO NOT travel alone. 4.    Ensure that you are familiar with road networks around your house / office and greater Nairobi. 5.    After attending social functions or dinners / movies, if you notice people around your car please do not approach but seek security intervention. 6.    Statistics show that most times for hijacks are usually between 6am and 9am for the morning and between 5pm and 9pm for the evening. 7.    Cooperate with the hijackers.  Material items can be replaced.
