SECURITY ALERT!

SECURITY ALERT

An incident reported by a Mumin bhai on the night of 7th January 2010 as below:

A muminbhai's car was intercepted at the Mamba Village Junction on Langata Road at around 9.30 pm by 4 armed gangsters.The muminbhai's car was behind a Nissan Xtrail which stopped at the junction. Suddenly 2 armed gangsters came out and asked all the 6 occupants to lie on the floor of the car. They tossed the driver to the rear and took control of the car. The Xtrail turned right towards town while the mumin's car turned left heading Karen. The car was immediately driven to a dark lane where all the occupants were stripped of all their phones, jewellery, house keys and cash. The gangsters wore the mumin bhai's topi and drove ahead.

 

After that, the gangsters demanded more money and asked the mumin to take them home in the meantime inquiring whether the money was in a safe. A few moments later the gangster called the other car Xtrail using the mumins mobile to know of their location and picked them up. So in total 4 gangsters, all fully armed and smoking bangi were in control of the car including the mumin bhai's family.

 

Thhe gangsters kept on inquiring by phone whether there were any roadblocks and were very suspicious of any incoming cars. They drove through a very rough road and very fast. All along this ordeal the mumin family were remembering aqa mola and doing matam.

 

With the mojiza of Imamum zamaan and Aqa Mola, the gangsters left the mumin family at an old garage in Biafra area in Eastleigh at 11.30 p.m.

 

All summed up this is what the mumin bhai advices.

1. Always take care and be alert of the car behind and in front of you.
2. Do not stop for too long at any junction.
   
3. When leaving any majlis venue, leave in groups of 2 or 3 cars together heading towards a specific area.

Annular Solar Eclipse of January 15, 2010

 

The first solar eclipse of 2010 occurs at the Moon's ascending node in western Sagittarius. An annular eclipse will be visible from a 300-km-wide track that traverses central Africa, the Indian Ocean and eastern Asia. A partial eclipse is seen within the much broader path of the Moon's penumbral shadow, which includes Eastern Europe, most of Africa, Asia, and Indonesia.

All Mumineen should abstain from eating and drinking during the eclipse and there should be no sexual intimacy in that night (or during the day of a solar eclipse). It is a time when one should pray, particularly namaaz, Quran and Dua. Leisure and frivolous pursuits should be avoided.
During an eclipse pregnant women in particular should be very careful. For example they should not handle metal objects - especially sharp ones. Nazrul Maqaam (as) and sadaqo should be offered.

Other directives with regards to things to abstain from during eclipses and other times of extreme natural events can be found in Busaheba's Sahifa.

Serious Incident Report 07 January, 2010 Dear Friends The incidents reported have been provided by Ultimate Security and distributed through the Diplomatic Police Unit today: Incident #1 DATE:               14 December 2009        TIME:               20:23 hrs LOCATION:      Mokoyeti, Karen Client pressed the alarm to help his neighbour who had been attacked by four armed gangsters. Two of them held the G4S guards while the other two carjacked the son when he entered the property. They left with the son and abandoned him in Kibera with his vehicle after stealing all his money, mobile phones and personnel items. Police from Hardy Police station attended and took all details.  (FYI - Mokoyeti Road is off Langata Road in Karen) Incident #2 DATE:               19 December 2009        TIME:               20:28 hrs LOCATION:      Bogani, Karen The self employed guard pressed the alarm after tenants of the compound entered the property followed by three thugs all armed with pistols. They stole many items from three of the tenants including mobile phones 20.000/= cash and personnel effects. The thugs then left the compound in one of the tenants' vehicles. Hardy Police attended the scene and took the details. Incident #3 DATE:               20 December 2009        TIME:               14:56 hrs LOCATION:      Red Hill Road The client pressed the alarm after he had been hijacked at his gate by armed gangsters. They fled with his vehicle, money and mobile phone.
