Salaam on Lailatul Jumoa, 3rd March 2011 at the Al Masjid ul Hakimi
drawing teams from five centres of the Jamiat – Dar es Salaam,
Nairobi, Mombasa, Morogoro and Zanzibar.
The competition had two rounds, the first one for matami noha and the
second for Aqa Maula's (TUS) madeh. Dar es Salaam and Nairobi were
adjudged joint winners by a panel of four judges.
All the participating teams gave a good account of themselves,
especially the youngsters for whom this was a first taste of
competition.
